Okay, I am seriously obsessed with baking at the moment. I probably need a boyfriend or a pet or something, but for now…baking and caking is ‘my thing’.
As much as I don’t want to bore the likes of Ms Sinclair with constant talk of cake (and bikes), Ian suggested I set up a little website so that you guys could order cakes for the office. I’m not David, so don’t expect a fancy website with a token and ordering system. But what I can do is embed a poll or something so we can democratically choose a weekly cake.
I say weekly, but we don’t have to have a cake each week, I know some of us are trying to prepare for bikinis and summer gun shows. We can gorge ourselves as frequently or infrequently as consensus demands.
Assuming we want more cake, I will post a poll tommorrow with a list of cakes to choose from for next week :-)
Mr Ukelele himself (Gwendle) has kindly provided me with the email address cake@globrix.com, so feel free to email me any cake suggestions you may have.
I am open to anything as long as it’s tasty (cue Nick/Tom coming up with some sort of innuendo here).
Much cakey love!

Carrot Cake
This was the first carrot cake that I have ever made and it was loooooovely. It was bloody heavy which made it a bit annoying to carry in but it was tasty enough to make it worth it I think. AND, it had loads of carrots and freshly squeezed orange juice in it, so surely it counts as one of your five a day?!

Key Lime ‘Cheese’cake
This was, in my humble opinion, delicious and it showed off how snazzy my new food processor is. Super yummy, but very naughty!

Red Velvet Mini Cup Cakes
I wasn’t a huge big fan of these, a recipe to be improved upon! But they were very easy and colourful food is fun.

Lemon Drizzle Cake
This very simple cake was enjoyed a while ago in the office, best with a cup of tea :)
